Job SummaryUnder limited supervision of the Senior Vice President, Business Intelligence and Applications, provides leadership and day-to-day operational management of the IT Project Management function within the Business Intelligence and Applications Department.
The incumbent is responsible for the overall project management and governance function by providing leadership, coordination, and management of the project management processes and functions.
This highly visible role will have oversight of all activities related to defining and managing standards, processes, and policies to ensure successful delivery of all IT projects within the Business Intelligence and Applications Department.
Here is how the Director, Project Management Office (PMO) will help:
Leads, manages, and directs the identification and implementation (or improvement) of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, standards, and a maturity roadmap.
Defines, manages, and directs the needed end-to-end PMO work effort, which includes leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying, and tracking the realization of expected benefits defined in business cases Establish a working framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery Develops and manages the application project roadmap aligned to the ACAA IT Strategic Plan and initiatives Leads the identification, development, implementation, and monitoring of project and portfolio KPIs, metrics, leading indicators, project trending, executive presentations, and portfolio status reports Fosters collaboration, strategic alignment and integrated planning and execution across multiple functions in a matrixed organization Regularly reviews and evaluates opportunities to improve the project management best practices to achieve higher maturity in PPM Research, recommend, procure, and manage consulting contracts and staff Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support a culture of high performance; Provide support and development to employees through performance management, coaching, training, motivation, and discipline; Perform other related tasks as assigned or required The successful candidate for the role of Director, Project Management Office (PMO) will demonstrate the following key competencies needed in our culture:

Qualifications Requirements to apply for the role of Director, Project Management Office (PMO) are:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information systems, computer science, business, or closely related field.
A master's degree in a relevant field or M.

7 years of relevant project and program management experience, including 5
years of experience directing staff.
PMO Certification(s) are a plus Strong knowledge Agile principles and practices - solid foundation and expertise.
Possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver's license.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
